Our Products

PFM Devices has ready to ship our Merlin model full-size and reduced-size suppressors for 30 cal rifles. These cans are ideal for the recreational shooter and sportsman. They are rated for semi-auto and are being currently assessed for full auto. More calibers are on the way as well as our next model, the Spectre. Get a PFM can and hear the "Sound of Science".

Our Process

PFM Applies the latest in simulation and analysis techniques to better understand the physics as to what is affecting the sound signature of the suppressor. Using our proprietary simulation tools, we can investigate the fluid dynamics processes much better than what can be done with just pressure measurements during testing. This greatly reduces the prototyping process as well as highlights the real cause of the sound signature and how to improve performance. Just a hint, it is not by "cooling the gas". In fact, the gas is totally ejected in about 50 ms. It is simply not possible to cool the gas that quickly. Our Performance

PFM Devices specializes in applying scientific analysis to optimize the design of our suppressors. Our patented technology produces the best sound reduction available while minimizing risk to the shooters hearing. Shown here is test data highlighting our Merlin's performance and compares it to other popular suppressors. Below shows the Merlin signature compared to other popular suppressors on the market. Our patented design also minimizes the backflow of gas. Get a PFM can and hear the "Sound of Science".
